Comments I would be grateful if someone could help me contact Ray Kelly [or members of his family] as my father flew ops with him out of Hartford Bridge in 1944. Have resorted to the Guestbook as "the default mail client is not properly installed" appears when I click-on Contact Details for the President, Secretary and/or Editor. I hope someone reads this and can help me. Many thanks Susan Chamberlin re: RCAF F/O J. P. Fahey [Nav/B] 226 Squadron

Comments Very much enjoyed reading through your website, especially your newsletter. I've already contacted Walter about using George's story '2nd Tactical Air Force' in our (2nd TAF Medium Bombers Assn) newsletter. Congratulations on a long and interesting history! David Poissant

Comments I am writing a research paper on 428418 Max Grabau (Heavy Conversion Unit). Max ended up a Reverend Father and sadly passed away in 2006. I wish to keep his memory alive and need some assistance by the way of photographs, documents and memoirs relating to Father Max. Thanks, Alan W.

Comments My Dad, P/O I O M Smith RAFVR, was lost on 9.5.41 and is missing presumed killed somewhere off the coast of Holland. He was flying a Mk2 Wellington with 99 squadron and was on a mission to Berlin with a 4000lb bomb, from Waterbeach. I am looking for photos of crews that may include Dad. He was with 99 from 30.12.40 to 9.5.41 at Newmarket and then Waterbeach. I have the ORBs for that period and a list of crews he flew with. I have attended the last 5 99sq reunions at Newmarket and have turned the PRO upsidedown. Anyone with info or photos please contact me. Thank you. Ian

Comments I was searching the web for information about 196 Sqdn, to which a friend of mine belonged during the War. His name is George Smith and he was a WO/Sigs/AG he has made some guardede reference to the work he did on 38Group/196 Sqdn. I typed 196 Squadron into Google and have been amazed by the large amount of information available, part of which was your web site. George is now mid 80s but I know he will be thrilled to learn about my findings. Well done. Frank
